It might be handy to have a list of which files on Tapers Section are unique to the site, recent rediscoveries previously unreleased.

One that I believe qualifies is some of the '66 material from the 2/05/2007 TS.

That version of Mindbender is a real good one - check out the lead break - it sounds like Great Society (at their best).

Initially I was going to note which shows were uncirculating, which have already been released, etc - but why should I do all the work? :)

But, as far as what's not available elsewhere from the early years, there are a few from early '66 -
2/22/68, and a couple short studio '68 selections -
the 5/3/69 Lovelight (which is maddening - does this mean the whole Dark Star suite is in the vault??) -
the 6/20/69 Lovelight (again, I'd love to hear more from this show!) -
the 9/6/69 Midnight Hour -
the 6/4/70 acoustic set (he might have another unheard reel from this show) -
the 6/12/70 Other One (this was a huge surprise) -
7/1 and 7/3/70 (great!) -
(his 12/23/70 selection is available on the Archive as 12/17/70) -
1/21/71 and 3/17/71 (nothing spectacular) -
5/29/71 (he's only included the NFA, but he has the whole show, he's played the Other One on the radio) -
Academy of Music 3/72, very frustrating, he's included short pieces from 3/22, 3/26 and 3/27, but there's plenty more we haven't heard! -
4/7/72, over half the show -
the 9/15/72 soundboard selections -
the 7/1/73 set II soundboard -
and a couple soundchecks here & there.

There are a few others which have been put out by Miller & others since Lemieux played them - and other selections are not so unique now. When he included the uncut 4/16/72 second-set jam, I was ecstatic, since in '07 all the Europe '72 shows were gone from the Archive, but now they're back. [10/16/74 has been pulled from the Archive, so it's still only streamable at the Taper's Section.] When he included the 5-24-72 Other One this week, it would have been a major red-letter day, had the set II sbd not come into circulation last year!

Thanks LIA - your work is appreciated!
I'll go back and play the un-(or less) circulated material.
